What does the monthly rent cover?
Our monthly rent covers a wide variety of services to ensure your comfort and convenience. This includes rent for your apartment, utilities, cable TV, internet, maintenance services, and a range of amenities such as our fitness center and access to a host of activities designed to cater to the interests of our active adults.
What activities are available to residents?
A: We offer a diverse range of activities designed to engage both the mind and body. This includes fitness classes, cooking demonstrations, movie nights, weekly card games, book clubs, and more. We also organize fun and enriching experiences outside the community.
Can I bring my car?
Yes. Bring your golf cart, too! Enjoy the independence of having a vehicle and use it to explore Colorado and live your life. There's ample parking available should you choose to bring a car.
Is the country club a public golf course?
As a resident, you'll enjoy easy access to the Pelican Lakes Golf Course with an optional membership, including racquet sports and restaurants. However, the course is open to all and perfect for novice and experienced golfers.
What pets are allowed?
We understand that pets are part of the family. Small dogs and cats are welcome in our community, giving you the joy of companionship in your new home. You can have up to two small pets (under 50 pounds) in your apartment. There is a $250 refundable pet deposit and a $35 monthly pet rent (for each pet).
What dog breeds are not allowed due to insurance restrictions?
Akitas, Airedale Terrier, American Bulldog, American Pit Bull/Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Bouvier des Flandres, Briard, Bull Mastiff, Chow, Doberman, German Shepherd, Giant Schnauzer, and Rottweiler.
Can family members visit?
Absolutely! Maintaining close relationships with family is essential for a fulfilling lifestyle. Your family is always welcome to visit and take part in our community activities and events.

These senior living facilities provide various levels of care as residents age. A continuum of care community, including independent and assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing, is important to some retirees. However, this form of senior housing typically requires a significant lump sum investment plus monthly costs. 55 Resort Apartments at Water Valley ensures older adults have access to a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.
